Mark lives with his wheelchair bound tyrannical mother who imprisons him in a world of guilt and ridicule. One night a moon genie descents from the sky and is bound to Mark so long as he doesn’t open her intriguing magic box. The moon genie realises the source of Mark’s problem and kills his mother with kindness before Mark’s estranged father comes and goes in the night. Curiosity gets the better of Mark who can no longer resist opening the box. Her work done, Genie returns to the sky, leaving the world a better place.
